Morris Norton Dalton, M.D., - age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Summerville, GA to the late Olga Trezevant Clardy and Ethcar H. Dalton, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007. He served 1944-46 in Europe during WWII with the 417th Nightfighter Squadron of the U.S. Army Air Force obtaining the rank of Captain. Attended West Georgia College and the University of Georgia prior to graduating tram The Medical College of Georgia in 1955. Dr Dalton initially begun his medical profession in Hartwell, GA in 1956 in office space above Hailey's Drug Store. In 1968, he joined Dr. Lloyd Davis and Dr. James Waters in practice at the West Haven Medical Clinic in Knoxville. He was a founding partner of Parkwest Hospital. Dr. Dalton was a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, Knoxville Academy of Medicine, and the Fort Loudon Yacht Club. He was also preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Billie Stephens Dalton. Dr. Dalton is survived by his children; daughter and son-in-¬law, Vickie and David Breedlove of Jacksonville, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Morris Dalton, Jr. and wife Debbie of Palm Bay, FL, Steve and Donna Dalton of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer Breedlove of Ashevil1e, NC, Matt Breedlove of Jacksonville, FL, Joshua Dalton, Emily Berggren both of Crossville, TN, David Dalton, Scott Dalton both of Nashville, TN.
Following a funeral service at 11:30 A.M. Friday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel in Knoxville with Rev. George H. Waters officiating, the family and friends will meet Saturday at Nancy Hart Memorial Park, Hartwell, GA. for a 11:30 A.M. entombment service with Rev.
