Obituary

Mrs. Mozelle (Willis) Moore Gayheart, age 85, of Martin, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born October 28, 1928, in South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Katie (Durham) Willis. She was a member of the Toccoa Church of God. Mrs. Gayheart was a devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: James Albert Moore; second husband: Kirby Gayheart; brothers: Walter Willis, W.C. Willis, Junior Willis, and Bobby Willis; sisters: Lois Gayheart and Pauline Willis; granddaughter: Melissa Howard; and step daughter: Maudin Gayheart-Green.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kerry and Sheila Moore; daughter and son-in-law: Vivien and David Howard; step children: Robert and Gladys Gayheart and Sharon and Rob Gayheart-Stegmeier; brothers: Ray Willis, Milford Willis, and Marvin Willis; sisters: Estelle Crunkleton and Lorene Rider; grandchildren: Jeanine and Clint Geohagen, Tabitha and Russ Adams, Michelle and Kevin Smith, and Joshua and Becky Payne; step grandchildren: Rodney and Tammi Green, Dinah Green, Susan Vaness-Gayheart, Sarah Gayheart-Burke, Daniel Gayheart-Burke, Jason Stegmeier, and Stacy Stegmeier-Fisher, great grandchildren: Rusty Adams, Brianna Segars, Seth Masten, Tucker Payne, Noah Adams, Isabella Payne, Logan Smith, Elijah Geohagen, and Gracen Smith; and three great-great grandchildren.
It was Mrs. Gayheart's wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Whitlock Mortuary in Toccoa with Layman Charlie Pitts officiating.
