Mrs. Mozelle Johnson Stamps, 87, of 12 Melvin Drive, Greenville, SC, formerly of Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Simpsonville, SC.
Born July 12, 1919 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ebb Fleming and Victoria Fleming.She was retired from Bellcraft Mfg. as a Seamstress.She was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church, Greenville, SC, and Order of Eastern Star #398.
Her survivors include:Sons, Kenneth Stamps of Charleston, SC, Charles Stamps of Greenville, SC and Billy Stamps of Hartwell, GA.Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by husband, Mack O. Stamps.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Benjamin Littlejohn and Dr. Jimmy Harley will officiate. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family will be at the home of Billy and Phyllis Stamps, 664 Benson Street, Hartwell, GA.
