Mrs. Mozelle Fowler Starcher, 91, of Lavonia Hwy, Lavonia, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at her daughter's home in Roseville, IL.

Born on November 20, 1930, in Toccoa GA, she was the daughter of Garnett E. Fowler and Lucy A Segars Fowler. Mrs. Starcher was a homemaker and an excellent baker. She was also a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Connie Handzo of Roseville IL and Karen Carey of Lavonia GA; a son: Jeffery Starcher of Lavonia; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Starcher was preceded in death by her parents; her husband:  Perry A "Bob" Starcher; a great-grandson:  Elijah A Trimble; and four brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mozelle Starcher will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Reverend Ken Brewer officiating. The burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
