Mrs. Nancy Theresa Jones, 57, of 2476 Dempsey Brown Road, Dewy Rose, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 8, 1956 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Romie Gay and Lila Mae Bruce Gay.She was employed at Royston, LLC as a final assembly worker, a former employee at Monroe Automotive Equipment and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her two sons: William "Billy" Jones and his wife Chanice of Royston, Donald "Andy" Jones of Lexington; one brother, Benny Gay of Georgia; three sisters: Louise Gay of Lavonia, Dot Gay of Royston, Martha Dean of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren: Merritt Jones, Bennett Jones, LilaBelle Jones, Travis Jones.Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Burch Jones; and two sisters: Julie Gay and Margaret Murdock.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Mike Crowe and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Jones Family Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.The family is at the home.
