Nancy Gail Walker Vermaat, age 60, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, May 21, 2022 at her home.
Born May 12, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Helen Walker and the late Michael Wayne Walker. After graduating from high school, she worked as a certified nursing assistant. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion: Johnny Fields, Jr.; sons: Jason Chandler and Michael Stowe; brothers: William Walker, Sr. and Patrick Walker; and grandchildren: Mattie Stowe, Trinity Stowe, and Ivy Stowe.
The family held a private family service. Nancy was cremated in accordance with her request.
