Obituary
Mrs. Naomi Skelton Shiflet, 95, of 45 Walnut St, Hartwell GA, died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on May 16, 1914 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Skelton and Julia Greenway Skelton.She was a homemaker and member Cornerstone Baptist Church and Carolyn Brown Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a son, Niles Shiflet of Royston; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank L. Shiflet; a sister, Anne S. Strickland and two brothers, Joel Skelton and Ralph Skelton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.The family is at their respective homes.
