Ned Moorhead, 71, passed away July 1, 2008. Mr. Moorhead was born July 28, 1936, in Hartwell, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vada Moorhead and his brother, Henry Moorhead.

Ned will be greatly missed by his wife, Mabel Dupree Moorhead, of 48 years. Ned is survived by his sisters Virginia (Joseph) Newcomer of Duluth, GA, Bobbie Palmer of Hampton, VA, Eugenia (W. C. "Bill") Pickett of Duluth, GA, and Louise (Robert "Bob") Smith of Anniston, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Service will be held at Hartwell First Methodist Church on Monday, July 7, with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church at 2pm with the service following at 3pm.
