Mr. Louis Neil Holmes, 73, of Bowman, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at his home.

Born on December 28, 1947 in Elberton, GA, he was the son of the late Cornelius Prince Holmes and Mary Bond Holmes. Mr. Holmes was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church, and he was a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors include his wife: Mandy Bray Holmes of Bowman; son: Jeremy Holmes of Bowman; two brothers: Dan Holmes and Keith Holmes, both of Bowman; and two sisters: Carol Maxwell of Bowman and Joyce Royston of Royston. Mr. Holmes is preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Connie Holmes.

It was Mr. Holmes wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
