Mrs. Flora Nell Poole Shaw, 75, of Bowman Hwy, Hartwell, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Hart Care Center, Hartwell.

Born on April 9, 1938 in Homer GA, she was a daughter of the late Charlie B. Poole and Sallie Pruitt Poole.She was a former seamstress at Hartwell Company and was a retired Sales Associate from Wal-Mart of Hartwell. She was a member of the Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Steve Shaw and his wife Tina of Hartwell; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Shaw; a daughter, Sharon Elaine Shaw Cleveland; a grandchild, Melissa Faye Cleveland; two sisters, Lucille Hooper and Burt Smith and five brothers, J. T. Kesler, Conrad Kesler, Herman Poole, Charles Poole and Vernon Poole.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m...
