Obituary
Mrs. Nell Williams Williams, 86 of Powell Rd, Hartwell, died Friday, May 21 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born on September 26, 1923 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Hafford and Nellie Lipp Williams. She was retired from both The Hartwell Company & L.H.P. Corp. and was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bobby R. Williams and his wife Jody of Hartwell; a step daughter, Vivian Reynolds of Athens; two granddaughters; six step-grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Hazel Wilson of Hartwell also survives.Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Williams and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home of 663 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell.
