Nicolas Duane Monnier, age 35, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his home.

Born September 7, 1989, in Anderson, SC, the son of Eric Monnier and Kristel Cox. He was a farmer and owner of Monnier Farms. He was an avid wrestling fan, enjoyed gaming, snowboarding, and dirt bike racing.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy Thomas Monnier; parents, Eric (Rhonda) Monnier and Kristel Cox;; children, Kaiden, Sophia, Daniel, Freya, Chloee, MaKinley, and Braelee; siblings, Sabastian (Shaia) Monnier, Taylor (Tyler) Whitten, Kristen (Bradley) Lollis, Alexis Cobb, and Christian Cox; grandparents, Robert & Ann Monnier and Jerry & Peggy Cox; uncle, Robert Monnier, Jr.; and best friend, John Hastings.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. W. Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Peniel Church Cemetery in Sandy Cross. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service.
