Mrs. Nina Belle Robertson Haley, 81, of Walters Road, Rock Springs Community, Lavonia, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her home.

Born on March 9, 1938 in the Shoal Creek Community of Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Howell Baxter Robertson and Lizzie Mae (Gray) Robertson Byrum.Mrs. Haley retired from Hartwell Garment, where she was a seamstress.She was also a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Michael Haley (Wanda) of Lavonia; two grandchildren: Brandon Haley (Ashleigh) and Brittany Haley; a great-grandchild: Sawyer Vaughn and a sister: Lucy Brown of Lavonia.Mrs. Haley was preceded in death by her parents; step-father: Bennie Byrum; her husband: Eugene Talmadge "Gene" Haley and three brothers: Bill Robertson, Bob Robertson and Walker Robertson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Rock Springs Baptist Church.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Haley will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Terry James officiating.Burial will be in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
