Ms. Nina Elaine Minchew Killeen, 80, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her home.

Born on December 18, 1944, in Lakeland, GA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Wilber Minchew and Mary Metts Minchew. Ms. Killeen was a retired LPN for Pruitt Health-Crestwood Nursing Home, Valdosta GA and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her son: Michael Marinell of Lavonia; brother: Bill Minchew of Lake Park, GA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Killeen was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. Paron Church, Alapaha GA.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
