Mrs. Nina Chastain McCurley, 94, of River Centre Place, Lawrenceville, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Courtyard Gardens of Lawrenceville.

Born on August 25, 1920 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Chastain and Roxie Hubbard Chastain. She was a former seamstress at Hartwell Company and was a former office assistant for Pfizer.
Mrs. McCurley was a member of the Norcross First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son: Dennis McCurley & Charlotte of Anderson; two daughters: Brenda Ross & David of Dacula GA and Peggy Major & Everett of Suwanee GA; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. McCurley was preceded in death by her parents; husband: L.J. McCurley; daughter: Polly Hazzard; a grandson: Greg McCurley and four sisters: Marie McCurley, Bertha Mae Gaines, Ruby Herring and Sarah White.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jeff Henderson officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
