Mrs. Nina Gray Stowe, 77, of Kesler Road, Canon, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.

Born on December 8, 1940 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Union Watson Gray and Willie Clyde Ford Gray.Mrs. Stowe was a retired machine operator for Monroe Auto Equipment Company and was currently employed by Hart County Goldmine Convenience & Recycling Center.She was also a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three daughters; Kathy Brock & Wayne of Martin, Gwen Teasley & Saan of Hartwell and Sondra Dodd & Paul of Canon; seven grandchildren: Nikki Gibson & Brandon, Mandy Sutton & Chris, Lauren Gaynon & Bryan, Caitlyn Dye & Adam, Drew Teasley, Ellie Dodd and Jake Dodd; four great-grandchildren: Payton Sutton, Walker Sutton, Kaylyn Gibson and Grayson Gibson and a sister: Margaret Crowe Owens of Belton SC also survives.Mrs. Stowe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William Howard Stowe and a brother: Robert Gray.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Durham and Rev. Luther Thomason officiating.Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Hart Co. Camp, Gideons International, PO Box 59, Hartwell GA 30643.
