Mrs. Nina Lee Weaver Bryson, 89, 40 Bryson Rd, Hartwell, died Saturday, January 22 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born on April 15, 1921 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Luke Weaver Sr. and Neila Hilly Weaver.She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Pat Miller and her husband Larry of Hartwell, a son, Jimmy Bryson of Hartwell, a brother, Luke Weaver Jr. of Canon; three sisters, Ruby Nell Brown of Dewy Rose, Eunice Ray and Peggy Kay both of Canon; two grandchildren, Lisa Owens and Jonathan Miller; five great-grandchildren, Cassidy Owens, Madeline Owens, Amelia Owens, M J Miller and Aliza Hart.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred L. Bryson; a brother, Howard Weaver and three sisters, Delrea "Bill" Cleveland, Bernice Pressley and Elizabeth Kelley.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jerry Durham, Rev. Luther Thomason and Rev. Duane Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday morning.The family is at the home of Pat & Larry Miller, 175 Janice Dr, Hartwell.
