Susan Juanita "Nita" (Chandler) Allen Drake, age 77, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at her home.

Born November 15, 1946, in Greensboro, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar William and Lena Irene (Scoggins) Chandler. Before retirement she worked as a Finishing Department Operator for Chipman Union Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Union Point Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Gary Clyde Allen and Marshall Drake; her siblings: Charles Chandler, James Chandler and Sarah Chandler; her son-in-law: Mark Brooks; and 2 great granddaughters.

She is survived by her children: Gary Scott Allen (Lowella), Pamela Allen Vaughn (Brian), Laura Allen Moody (Donald) and Michelle Brooks; grandchildren: Brad Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Josh Brooks, Matthew Brooks, Ryan Moody, Jonathan Moody, Joey Allen, Andrew Allen, Tiffany Ross, and Britney Allen; great grandchildren: Brandon Vaughn, Krislyn Brooks, Miles Moody, Emmett Moody, Emma Moody, Gavin Ross and Paisley Ross; brother: Alfred Chandler; sisters: Eddie Lee Sisson and Lois Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Carnesville Church of God with Rev. Gary Ledford, Rev. Amy Reems and Rev. Quint Shepherd officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Bairdstown Cemetery in the Bairdstown Community of Union Point, GA. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
