Obituary

Mrs. Nobie Marvine "Kitty" Treadwell Haynie, 87, of Highlands Ave., Hartwell, died Saturday, December 22 at Brightmore Nursing Center, Griffin GA.

Born on November 2, 1919 in Statham GA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Marvin Treadwell and Nobie Milligan Treadwell.She was a retired seamstress for the Hartwell Company, a member of the Hartwell First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son: Tony Haynie and his wife Brenda of Fort Worth TX, a daughter: Patsy Brown and her husband Jerrold of Griffin, a brother: Gene Treadwell of Duluth; two grandchildren: Allison Mann of Cartersville and Amy Gaston of Bradenton FL; five great-grandchildren: Chandler Mann, Anslie Mann, Anna Caroline Mann, Ashlyn Gaston and Morgan Gaston also survive.Mrs. Haynie was preceded in death by her husband: Joe D. Haynie, two grandsons: Matthew Haynie & Adam Haynie and three brothers: Loyce Treadwell, Bowdin Treadwell & Mercer Treadwell.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 26 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with burial in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The family is at the home of Tony and Brenda Haynie, 130 Holly St., Hartwell.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Matt & Adam Haynie Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Bank of America.
