Mr. Noel Thomas White, 91, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at MH Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC.

Born on July 18, 1934 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Elbert Vandiver White and Blanche Busby White. Mr. White was a customer engineer for IBM, and was a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors include his son: Michael T. White (Christine) of New Bern, NC; daughter: Tammy Pendergrass of Franklin, NC; sister: Barbara Temples (Mark) of Hartwell; three grandchildren: Justin Capps (Elyse), Noel White (Nicole), Wilson White (Holly), and three great grandchildren: Brianna White, Grace Biladeau, and Jocelyn Lee also survive.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Betty Ann Shaw White; one sister: Louise White Gaines; and five brothers: Bill, Neal, Chandler, Eddie, and Marion White.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Noel White will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
