Mrs. Nora Vaughn Rowe, age 73, of 1379 Milltown Road, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.
Born December 31, 1935 in Cherokee Co., AL, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Vaughn and Eula Floyd Vaughn.She was a homemaker.
She is survived by:Son, Larry Rowe of Hartwell, GA; and a Sister, Louise McCurley of Pendleton, SC.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, James H. Rowe; Brothers, William Wesley Vaughn and Winford Harland Vaughn; Sisters, Pluma Owens and Beatrice Carnes.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Mr. Fred Greenway will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
