Obituary
Mr. Otis Alfred Smith, 84, of Carter's Ferry Road, Hartwell, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Brown Health & Rehab, Royston, GA.
Born on May 7, 1933 in Comer GA, he was the son of the late Lester Smith and Lula Sorrow Smith.Mr. Smith was a retired owner/operator of Hartwell Meter Repair and a former employee with Atlanta Gas Light Co.He also was a member of the Woodland Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son: Ray Smith of Hartwell; three grandchildren: Steven Smith, Josh Smith and Max Smith.Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife: Imogene Whitfield Smith; three brothers: James Smith, Gartrell Smith, John Smith; three sisters: Willie Mae Kidd, Willie Hart, and Rachel Adams.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family is at their respective homes.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
