Mrs. Patricia Dwyer Greba, 86, of Lakefront Road, Canon, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her home.
Born on December 23, 1927 in Detroit MI, she was the daughter of the late John Dwyer and Mabel Evans Dwyer. Today she is a beautiful Irish woman who can tell a wonderful story.She was funny, a terrible cook, and a great spoons player. She was a mother of seven children and thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a collector of beautiful things, loved her daily glass of port wine, and loved her garden and a lover of Christ. She was a home maker and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
Survivors include her three daughters: Maribeth Smart and her husband Tommy of Hartwell, Kathryn Cooper of Watkinsville, GA, Karen Martin and her husband Dean of Cleveland, GA; four sons: Kevin Greba and his wife Diane of Clifton, VA, Keith Greba and his wife Martha of Sitka, AK, Patrick Greba and his wife Lynne of Douglasville, GA and Christopher Greba of Atlanta; one sister: Ellen Ferency of Lancing, MI; seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survives.Mrs. Greba was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Greba; one brother; Jack Dwyer and one sister: Karen Dwyer.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell.
