Mrs. Patricia Ann Doker Moorhead, 79, of Liberty Hill Church Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her home.

Born on August 20, 1939 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. Doker and Clara Mae Whitten Doker and step-daughter of the late Marie McCurley Doker.Mrs. Moorhead was retired sales clerk for EnMark and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons: Darryl A. Bryson of Iva SC and Dean H. Bryson of Hartwell; a step-son: Todd Moorhead of Hartwell; a step-daughter: Karen Moorhead of Asheville NC; a grandson raised in the home: Jace Moorhead; two brothers: Sidney Doker of Hartwell and Paul Doker of Danielsville GA; a granddaughter: Darian Bryson; three step-grandchildren: Phillip Bell, Drew Bell and Megan Hamby and two great-grandchildren: Peyten Hamby and Jacob Bell.Mrs. Moorhead was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James H. "Jimmy" Moorhead; a step son: Tim Moorhead; four brothers: James Doker, Joe R. Doker, William Doker and Carl Howard Doker and a sister: Clara Lee Evans.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 12 noon at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will have a Rosary prayer service at 5:30 p.m. and visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening.The family will be at the home.
