Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Sue (Riley) Horan Reed, 79, of Canon, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born January 6, 1938, in White Hall, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry Charles "Mike" and Mary Delores (VanGuilder) Riley. Before retirement she was store manager for Golden Pantry of Lavonia and Hartwell. She was a veteran of the US Air Force and was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her husband: Mike Reed of Canon; daughter: Maureen Sommer (Oliver) of Marion, NC; sons: Marty Horan (Sandy) of Ekron, KY and Mike Horan of Dahlonega; sister: Thon Gebo (Tim) of White Hall, NY; brother: Henry "Mike" Riley of Albany, NY; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Reed's request was to be cremated and no other services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Patricia to Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter 870 Bear Creek Road Lavonia, GA 30553 or the charity of your choice.
