Obituary
Mrs. Patsy Clark Bowen, 78, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her home.
Born on May 21, 1941 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late David Haynie Clark and Edna Earl Sanders Clark.Mrs. Bowen was a former supervisor for the Hartwell Company and retired from The Hartwell Sun where she did advertisement layouts.
Survivors include one son: Rodney Bowen of Hartwell; two daughters: Jeanne Troyer of Delray Beach FL, Patty Brock of Hartwell; one brother: Jimmy Clark of Hartwell; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James "Jim" Bowen; one son: Albert Bowen; one brother: Hoyt Clark; three sisters: Betty Milford, Carolyn Boles and Ann McCall.
A memorial service celebrating Patsy's life will be held at a later date by her family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to defray medical expenses or to the charity of one's choice.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
