Patsy Wood Pruitt, age 72, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home.

Born July 22, 1949, in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nettie Mae (McCurley) Wood. She graduated from Hart County High School and worked as a self-employed House Keeper and Caregiver. She enjoyed working in her yard and doing crossword puzzles, but her greatest love was her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, and loving grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ronnie F. Pruitt; brother: Bobby Wood; and sisters: Margie Mohawk and Bonnie Richardson.

She is survived by her son: Ronnie Pruitt, Jr.; daughter & son-in-law:Sandra & Harold Morris; daughter: Christina Pruitt; and grandchildren: Brittany & Jake Harris, Abigail Pruitt, Emerald Morris, and Harper Lingerfelt.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org)
