Mrs. Patsy Faye Hilley Sanders, 73, of Uly White Road, Hartwell, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at Elberton Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 6, 1948 in Canon, GA, she was the daughter of the late James H. Hilley and Rachel King Hilley Segars. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and a master gardener. She was also a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Franklin D. Sanders; two sons: James David Sanders (Tracy) and Gregory Cain Sanders (April), all of Hartwell; one daughter: Angela S. McGee (Nick) of Hartwell; one sister: Dianne Bryant (Aaron) of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Sadie Blackmon, Audrey McGee, Kolby Sanders, Sydney Sanders; and numerous nieces & nephews that she loved as her own. Mrs. Sanders is preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Connie Sayer.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Sanders will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Michele May officiating.Burial will be in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeffrey Evans, Bradley Sanders, Jason Sanders, Herman Bryant, Jonathan Fleeman and Brandon Fleeman.
