Patsy Brenda (Odom) Stowers, 63, of Lavonia, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her home.
Born December 31, 1952, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Pat Millard Odom and Betty Katherine (Roberts) Odom. She was employed as an associate at Wal-Mart in Toccoa and was a member of Rice Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband: Farron Stowers; daughter & son-in-law, April & Jeremy Ray; step daughter: Heather Stowers; sons: Michael Good, Scottie Good, Lonnie Atha, Jr. and Paul Atha; grandchildren: Chance Thornton, Patrick Thornton, Brandon Ray, Ciera Good, Keri Atha, Amanda Atha, Stephanie Shirley, Ryan Atha, Emily Atha and Ali Atha; great grandchild: Chance Thornton, Jr.; sisters: Peggy Shadix and Diane Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Taryn Atha.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home.
