Obituary
Mr. Paul R. Harbison, 87, of 775 Rainbow Drive, Hartwell, died Wednesday, September 4 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Born on May 13, 1926 in Youngstown OH, he was the son of the late Paul R. Harbison Sr. and Emma Davis Harbison.He was retired salesman for Cox Lumber Company.Mr. Harbison was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, of the Presbyterian faith and a WW II U S Navy veteran.
Survivors include two daughters, Nannette Harbison of Hartwell and Kathi Wagoner of Venice FL; a son, Russell Harbison of New Port Richey FL; one brother, Phillip Harbison of Boulder CO; six grandchildren, Chris, Tabitha, John, Jeannette, Gabriel and Jordan also survive.Mr. Harbison was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lois Jeanne Gable Harbison and a grandson, Logan Harbison.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida with military honors.Memorials may be made to the Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell GA 30643.
