Paul E. Lane's Obituary
Mr. Paul Edward Lane, 73, of 424 Stillwood Dr., Hartwell, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his home.
Born on July 10, 1935 in Cloverport KY, he was the son of the late Wallace Lane and Flossie DeWitt Lane.He was a retired Electrical Mate Chief from the US Navy and Head of Maintenance for May Company Shopping Centers.He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association and of the Protestant faith.He was a US Navy Korean War veteran.
Survivors include: Wife, Sarah Manning Lane of the home; sons, Paul E. Lane II of Enfield CT and Kirby E. Lane of Ewa Beach HI; a daughter: Laura L. Drumheller of Hartwell; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 855 Gaines School Rd., Suite G, Athens, GA 30605.
