Mrs. Pauline Steele Osborne, 89, of Campbell Drive, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Hart Care Center.

Born on April 3, 1930 in Gladwin MI, she was the daughter of the late George Henry Steele and Hazel Wirick Steele.Mrs. Osborne was a retired store clerk, working for Harry Marett Supermarket and Economy Drug Store.She was a member of the Hartwell First Presbyterian Church, where she was an Elder and active in Sunday School and the Presbyterian Women.She also volunteered at the Hart County Clothes Closet.

Survivors include her two sons: George Osborne (Wendy) of Conway SC and Daniel Osborne (Cathy) of Acworth GA, a daughter: Diana Gillespie (Steve) of Mooresboro NC; two sisters: Thelma Sutherland of Alger MI and Phyllis Kramer of Hector MN; six grandchildren: Tiffany Gillespie, Derek Gillespie, Emma Osborne, Aiden Osborne, Madline Osborne and Charlie Osborne and two great-grandchildren: Claire Ford and Beau Gillespie also survive.Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Dewey E. Osborne and three sisters: Eleanor Kronkright, Louella Wheeler and Betty Prescott.

Pauline wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ted Worley officiating.A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First Presbyterian Church, 41 S. Carter Street, PO Box 1279, Hartwell GA 30643.
