Welcome Home Service for Mrs. Pauline Thompson of Lavonia, GA, will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Lavonia. The family will receive friends Saturday, 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia.
Mrs. Thompson moved to Lavonia 30 years ago and became a part of the family at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She assisted in many ways there, but her favorites were the times she spent in the AWANA's Ministry, and with the ladies of her Sunday School Class. Pauline and her husband, Robert, have worked side by side sharing many business endeavors during their years together, many including their son Frank.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Thompson, sons: Gary Thompson and Frank Thompson; daughters: Marilyn Thompson and Christy Oliver; six grandchildren, especially our own Marine: Glenn Crawford; two great-grandchildren; her sister: Louise Humpfield; and too many friends to list.
We miss you Mom.
