Thelma Pearl (Stringfellow) Thrasher, age 99, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at her home.

Born March 26, 1925, in Omaha, GA, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Osbourne) Stringfellow. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lavonia First Baptist Church. She was a factory worker, as many people did during WWII to support the war effort.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Rivara; and grandsons: Christian Lung and Kyle Lindsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Donna Wilson and a grandson: Andrew Warlick.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens.
