Ms. Peggy Jane Certain, 71, of Canon, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home.
Born June 23, 1946 in Broward County, FL, she was the daughter of the late J.S. "Bo" and Janie Belle (Coker) Certain. She was manager of Huddle House and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons: Timothy Certain and Brian Certain; brother: David Certain; and sisters: Shirley Gibson, Louise Beatenbough, Sandra DelaCruz and Barbara "P-Nut" Lancaster. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother: Billy Lee Certain.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Carson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. At other hours the family will be at their respective homes.
