Peggy Sue Jackson

Mrs. Peggy Sue Hunter Jackson, age 62, of Martin, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.

Born on September 25, 1963, in Duluth, she was the daughter of the late Herman Hunter and Bonnie Sue Garrett Johnson. She worked in permit administration for Gwinnett County Building and Development. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her husband: Wendell E. Jackson; children: Christina Lawson (Michael Russell) and Ashley Pirkle (Will); grandchildren: MJ Wiesenfeld, Autumn Wiesenfeld, Meadow Bard, Kensley Kaminski, Allyssa Jackson, Bentley Tullis and Liam Pirkle; great grandchildren: Saylor Wiesenfeld, Wrenleigh Wiesenfeld, and Camilla Espinoza; brothers: Mike Hunter (Kim), Mike Johnson (Katrina) and Scott Johnson.

Mrs. Jackson’s request was cremation, and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
