Mrs. Peggy Waters O'Barr, 85, of Twin Cove Drove, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her home.
Born on January 17, 1931 in Tampa, FL she was the daughter of the late Roland Sykes Waters and Ruth Daughtry Waters.Mrs. O'Barr was a retired LPN from St. Joseph's Hospital and Hart County Hospital. She was a member of the Palm Ave. Baptist Church in Tampa, FL.
Survivors include three sons: Ronald Anderson, Randall Anderson (Barbara), Huin B. Anderson, Jr. all of Hartwell; one step-son: Emmett L. O'Barr, Jr. of Tampa, FL; one step-daughter: Mable Fender of Tampa, FL and one grandson: Randall Anderson, Jr. Mrs. O'Barr was preceded in death by her husband: Emmett L. O'Barr and one brother: Roland Sykes Waters, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
