Mrs. Nancy "Peggy" Allen White, 83, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at her home with her children by her side.

Born on November 20, 1941 in Lavonia, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Allen and Lorene Chitwood Allen. Mrs. White was a seamstress for Bellcraft Mfg. Company and was a member of the Price Chapel Church of God. She also loved her grandkids and flowers.

Survivors include one son: Ricky White (Rhonda) of Hartwell; two daughters: Martha Robinson (Steve) and Nancy Ann White, all of Hartwell; four sisters: Patsy Turnbull of Royston, Diane Brown of Dewy Rose, Alice Thornton of Royston, and Barbara Allen of Hampton, GA; seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Angela, TJ, Jason, Laura, Michelle, and Rhonda and numerous great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Curtis Climmie White; one son: Tony C. White; and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy White will be Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Pastor Tony Franks and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons International, Hart Co. Camp, P.O. Box 59, Hartwell, GA 30643.
