Mr. Henry Paul "Pete" Stoyle, 80, of Old Canon Church Road, Bowersville, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on August 20, 1937 in Danielsville GA, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Stoyle and Bertha Mae McClure Stoyle.Mr. Stoyle was a retired welder from NVF and attended the Price Chapel Church of God.

Survivors include his wife: Darlene Peeples Stoyle; one son: Donald Stoyle of Bowersville; three daughters: Kathy Royston and Roy of Canon, Katherine Stoyle of Bowersville, Tina Franks and Tony of Bowersville; one brother: Jerry Stoyle; three sisters: Bess Wilson of Athens, Frances Archer and Ray of Winter Garden FL, Robbie Blalock of Danielsville; eleven grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Stoyle was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Bob Stoyle, two sisters: Polly Stoyle and Bertie Stoyle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe, Rev. Paul Hood and Mr. Tony Franks officiating.Burial will be in the Old Canon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Price Chapel Church of God, 45 Price Chapel Road, Lavonia, GA30553.
