Obituary
Mr. Phil Gearin, age 61 of Forest Park, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Dekalb County.
Born July 6, 1950 in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Albert Ernest and Mattie Ruth Cawthon Gearin. He was a plumber by trade.
He is survived by sisters: Jeanette Isom of Hartwell, Frances Walker of Forest Park, & June Goodwin of Anniston, AL; brothers: John Gearin of Jacksonville, FL, Tommy Gearin of Dahlonega, & David Gearin of Toccoa; one son, two daughters, & eight grandchildren also survive. Mr. Gearin was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Russell Gearin; and a sister: Barbara Wooten.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Lavonia City Cemetery.
