Mrs. Pilar Margaret Terceno Agvent, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her home in Hartwell, Georgia.

Born on November 4, 1931, in New York NY, she was the daughter of the late Joaquin P. Terceno and Socorro Herrera Terceno. Mrs. Agvent was a retired bookkeeper with Stratford Municipal Federal Credit Union and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church.

A long-time resident of Stratford, CT, she graduated from Stratford High School in 1949 where she met her husband. They were married in Holy Name of Jesus Church in 1954 and raised their family in Stratford before retiring to Lake Hartwell in Georgia.

She is survived by her children: Gregory J. Agvent (Stacey), Victoria A. Teahan (John), Julia M. Colson (David), Alicia P. Moran (Jeffrey); ten grandchildren: Matthew Agvent, Lindsay Agvent, Riley Teahan, Joseph Teahan, Daniel Teahan, Justina Hay, John Hay (Kim), Kelly McKulla, Lauren McIntosh (Zachary) and Christopher McKulla; five great grandsons: Jayden McManus, Jackson Fignar, John Hay, Gavin Hay and Colin Hay; and one brother: Joaquin Terceno (Patricia) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Agvent is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband: Raymond Joseph Agvent.

Mrs. Agvent wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church.  Her ashes will be placed beside her husband in the Sacred Heart Memorial Garden.

A memorial service in Mrs. Agvent's honor will be held in Stratford, CT at a future date.  Anyone wishing information can contact her children directly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
