Pauline Powers "Polly" Brady, age 86, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital

Born June 7, 1936 in Franklin County, she was the daughter the late Lewis Alvin "Jeff" & Mary Alewine Powers. Before retirement she worked as a Teller at Northeast Georgia Bank  and First Bank & Trust. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Brady; son: Robert Scott Brady; brother: Charles Powers; sister: Patsy Bryant; and brother-in-law: Marvin Batson.

She is survived by sister & brother-in-law: Bonnie & James Chitwood of Lavonia; sister: Mary Nell Batson of Toccoa; brother: Roger Powers of Lavonia; and several nieces & nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Bruce Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 until the service hour. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tim Chitwood, Ryan Chitwood, Cody Chitwood, Jeffrey Bryant, Dylan Chitwood and Tony Chitwood.
