Prophet James Leroy "Jimmy" Redmond, age 71, of the Gumlog Community, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at his home

Born March 25, 1952, he was the son of the late William Fletcher Redmond and Ruby Elizabeth Grogan Redmond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Juanita Huff; and brothers: William Fletcher Redmond, Jr. and Bobby Redmond.

A native of Greenville, SC, Jimmy was a retired truck driver. He was a minister for many years, preaching wherever the opportunity presented itself. He was of the Full Gospel faith.

Left to celebrate his life are his wife: Regina Maitland Redmond: brother & sister-in-law: Walt & Sherry Redmond; brother: Kenneth Redmond; and several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was cremated in accordance with his request. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
