Quoc Nguyen, age 54, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born May 21, 1968, in Saigon, Vietnam, he was the son of Nguyen Hai and Nho Thi Pham. He was a farmer and of the Buddhist faith.

He is survived by his wife: Suong Tuong; daughter Hien "Min" Nguyen; and siblings: John Nguyen, Hong Nguyen, Dung Nguyen, Guong Nguyen, Phung Nguyen, and Thanh Nguyen.

The funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Mr. Nguyen will be cremated in accordance with his request.
