Mr. Raborn W. Risner, 80, of Glendale Drive, Hartwell, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home.

Born on July 19, 1938 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Webster Risner and Rosell Reid Risner.Mr. Risner was retired from Milliken/Newton Mills, where he was an Instructor.He was also a member of the Hart County Camp, Gideons International, the Sardis Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School and was a member of the Senior Adult SS Class.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Ann Chambers Risner, a son: Stanley Risner & Julia of Carnesville GA; two daughters: Elaine Bowen & Randy of Royston GA and Loretta Brown & Otis of Hartwell GA; a step-son: Mike Mosley & Phyllis of Hartwell GA; two step-daughters: Deborah Kennedy & Rex of Danielsville GA and Joyce Mosley of Roswell GA; a sister: Doris Crew of Dallas GA; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Risner was preceded in death by his first wife: Linda Hardy Risner and a brother: Guy Risner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. John Silver and Rev. James Sexton officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.The family will be at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Hart County Camp, Gideons International, PO Box 59, Hartwell GA 30643.
