Mr. Randolph A. "Randy" Dumesnil, 69, of Liberty Hill Road, Hartwell, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home.

Born on July 20, 1949 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Oliver A. Dumesnil and Hilda Rhodes Dumesnil.Mr. Dumesnil attended Georgia Southern University, was a master builder, artist and gardener.Randy also volunteered for the Hart County Friends of the Library and was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter: Bretta D. Provost (Phillipe) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; one sister: Elizabeth Dumesnil Winchester of Augusta; one brother: Gary R. Dumesnil of Atlanta; two grandchildren; one nephew: Jeremy Fare; two nieces: Jessica Eubank and Stephanie Tarrer. Mr. Dumesnil was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister: Judith Dumesnil Dunn.

A graveside inurnment service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Macedonia United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating.

A gathering to celebrate Randy's life will be held Sunday, January 13. 2019 at 2:00 pm. at the Hart County Library. Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Hart County Library, 150 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
