Mr. Richard Randolph "Randy" Fisher, 74, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his home.
Randy was the son of the late James Glenn Fisher Sr. and Virginia Randolph Fisher of Hartwell.
After attending Auburn University, Randy moved with his wife, Judy, to Florida to pursue his career as a commercial airline pilot.After 24 years in Florida, they decided to move back to Hartwell, the town they always missed and wanted to come back to.Randy retired from US Air after a 32 year long flying career.
Survivors include his children: two sons, Blake Fisher and his wife Lisa, Russell Fisher and his wife Suzanne and one daughter Terri Fisher Wagner; a brother: James Glenn "Buddy" Fisher Jr.; a sister: Sharon Harper; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy Woodall Fisher.
Randy had a great respect for wildlife and the outdoors.He also had a huge heart for homeless pets and rescued four dogs of his own.
Randy loved the outdoors, the simple things in life and most of all his family.
He has requested that there be no visitation or funeral service.He wished for only his immediate family to meet at his residence to celebrate his life.
