Randolf Bruno Kohl, 80, of Elberton, GA passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.

Randy is survived by his wife Marylan (Hewell of Gillsville, GA) of 57 years, daughters, Kathleen, Lisa (Blackmon), son Richard (Pam), sisters Marie and Elizabeth, brother Ken, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.Randy was a loving husband, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all.

Randy was an Eagle Scout and United Air Force Veteran.He worked throughout his life as a philanthropist and held an honorary Doctorate of Philanthropy from Pepperdine University.He was a Scout Executive and National Director of Exploring for the Boy Scouts of America and Regional Director of the American Cancer Society.With his move to Georgia he worked as President of the University Hospital Foundation in Augusta and upon retirement worked with the Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation.

A mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA.
