Randy McArthur Pearson, age 50, of Lavonia, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born June 4, 1972, in Royston, he was the son of the late Rufus Wilford and Sue Ray Dutton Pearson. Mr. Pearson was a caregiver and of the Baptist faith.

He was survived by his foster kids: Drake Kelley, Ben Canaina, Charles Abercrombie, Richard Allen; sister & brother-in-law: Ann and Brian Fleeman of Vanna; brothers: Kenneth Pearson of Hartwell and Jason & Briana Pearson of Canon; uncle: Robert Pearson of Hartwell; nephews & nieces: Sammy and Shamberly Pearson, Dustin and McKayla Findley, Robby and Danielle Pearson, Rusty Pearson, Briana Pearson, Brittany Kelley, Josh Pearson, Jordan Pearson, Jagger Pearson, Easton Pearson, Paislyn Pearson, Cohen Pearson, C J and Lacie Huff, Kanthy and Dylan Mincey; great nieces & nephews: Grayson Kelley, Ansley Kelley, Khloe Kelley, Braxten Pearson, Camelia Pearson, Willow Pearson, Rylee Findley, Bryar Findley, Georgia Findley, Anna Pearson, Trinity Pearson and Bryson Vanesse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Paul Pearson and Frankie Pearson.

Mr. Pearson's request was to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at his home.
