Mr. Randy Sanders, age 54 of 648 Old Henry's Church Rd., Canon GA, died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Hart Co. Hospital from injuries in an accident.

Born September 14, 1954 in Elbert County, he was the son of the late Billy Sanders and Imogene "Jean" Vaughn Sanders Lunceford. He was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church and attended Goldmine Church of God.

He is survived by: Wife, Diane Scarboro Sanders of the home, sons, Steven Lamar Sanders and his wife, Donna of Royston, Ga., and Billy Thomas Sanders and his wife, Melanie of Hartwell, Ga., brothers, Mike Sanders, Bowman, Ga., Scott Sanders, Dewy Rose, Ga., and Ricky Sanders, Royston, Ga., sisters, Deborah Dove, Athens, Ga., and Melissa Spires, Hartwell, Ga., grandchildren surviving are Justin Sanders, Tori Sanders, Austin Sanders, Caitlyn Sanders, Heather Sanders, Mason Sanders and Chase Sanders. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Sanders.

Funeral services for Randy Sanders will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Goldmine Church of God. Rev. Phillip Paterson will officiate. Burial will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating at graveside.

The family will receive friends at Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening. The family will be at the home, 648 Old Henry's Church Road, Canon, Ga.
